Meet Peter

Peter Harris is a Victorian boy who was born in the small town of Mortlake and raised at Hexham.

In 2000, Pete began his four year apprenticeship as a butcher at Reg's City Meat in Hamilton where he learnt a wide range of skills to work in a retail meat environment. 

After 15 years in the industry, Peter decided it was time to commence his own retail butcher and purchased Lucas Brothers Butchers in 2013 off previous owners Ken and Helen Lucas. 

Pete prides himself on providing the residents of Warrnambool and surrounding areas the highest quality meat and poultry in town.
